In an elegant historic building on Via Tevere in Rome, Maria Adele Savioli has expertly renovated a prestigious apartment, originally built in the early 1900s and famous for being the birthplace of the illustrious astronaut Michael Collins.
The project has carefully preserved the exquisite finishes and the strong identity of the original layout, enriching the environment with a palette of refined colours and noble materials. The marble portals, the flooring in decorated terrazzo and the herringbone parquet have been restored to become the undisputed protagonists of the interiors.
The tailor-made furnishings, both fixed and movable, have been created drawing inspiration from the existing decorative elements, such as the boiseries, brass details, and decorations found in the original structure.
Among the furniture, some iconic pieces from the MAS Design brand stand out: these artisanal pieces, meticulously detailed, embody the ideal balance between aesthetics and functionality, custom-designed to meet the specific needs of the owners.
