Launched in October 2025, AALF is an Italian home décor and lighting brand shaped by the everyday life of a family loft. Founded by Alessia Colonna and Federico Bonamici, the brand creates subtle, poetic, and essential objects designed to accompany real moments - quiet pieces that welcome, rather than decorate. Inspired by the loft as both a space and a mindset, AALF speaks to a growing community of “Loft Lovers”: individuals who value openness, creativity, and the beauty of lived-in, flexible environments. Each piece expresses this vision, blending emotional rhythm with an honest, intentional design language.

The debut product, Lampcake, is a luminous tribute to family rituals, reimagining a stack of pancakes in clean, sculptural form. Crafted from Green Cast® - 100% recycled cast acrylic - and fully made in Italy, it's available in a limited edition of 1,200 numbered pieces across four colours, each symbolically linked to a member of the founders’ family. 

The second piece, Handlecake, continues the collection with the same sense of purpose and aesthetic warmth. Compact and colourful, these candle holders reflect the brand’s design philosophy - playful, intentional, and rooted in everyday life.

AALF doesn’t aim to fill space, it creates atmosphere. A design language built on presence, intimacy, and the belief that the most beautiful objects are those that quietly become part of who we are.
